Jane Ellen Popp

Jane Ellen Popp, age 87, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Logan Acres Senior Community in Bellefontaine.

She was born July 13, 1933, a daughter of the late Milton C. and Ada (Ross) Heisler.

On September 23, 1951, Jane married Eugene R. Popp in Columbus, Ohio and he preceded her in death June 7, 1986. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Darius Popp.

Jane is survived by her three sons, Dennis E. (Robin) Popp of West Mansfield, Ohio, Steven R. (Linda Kay) Popp of West Liberty, Ohio and Ronald E. (Carol) Popp of Bellefontaine; four grandchildren, Sherri Duvall, Samantha (Aaron) Hiltebran, Eric Popp and Steven A. (Autumn) Popp; nine great grandchildren and a sister, Jacqueline Heisler.

A homemaker, Jane was the biggest fan of the Turner Classic Movies channel. She was a member of the Rushsylvania Church of Christ and later the Calvary Baptist Church in Bellefontaine.

Per Jane’s request, there will be no public services. Inurnment will be at the Rushsylvania Cemetery in Rushsylvania, Ohio at the convenience of the family.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine is honored to serve the Popp family.
