Jane Yelton, 52, of Bellefontaine passed away Tuesday morning, October 13, 2015 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was born in Bellefontaine on November 24, 1962 to the late Cecil and Opal (Hammond) Horne.
The youngest of twelve siblings, Jane enjoyed crocheting, sitting on her front porch, drinking frozen Cokes and getting loving hugs from her grandchildren. She also cherished week-long vacations in “the Hills” (aka Hocking Hills) and shooting groundhogs off the front porch.
Jane is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jeff Yelton; children: Jeremy (Nikki) Yelton of East Liberty, April Yelton, Misty Yelton and Tina (Brandon) Rutherford, all of Bellefontaine; nine grandchildren: Nathan, Olivia, Parker, Brooke, Kaydence, Chassy, Sunny, Skylar and Mason; and one great-grandchild Zentley.
Pastor Tony Coy will officiate the funeral service on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 12noon at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine where visitation will be held
from 9am – 12noon. Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery.
