Janet Lorraine Queen, 68, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at her residence. She was born May 6, 1942 in Topeka, Kansas to the late George and Martha (Hughes) Cotter.
She married James A. Queen September 30, 1961 in Bellefontaine, and he survives along with their children, Brian (Marsha) Queen of Springfield, Ohio, and Roger Queen of Bellefontaine; a brother, Neil (Alenta) Cotter of Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren, Anthony, Adam, Crystal, Briana and Tyler and two great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was a son, James Andrew Queen and two brothers, David and Daniel Cotter.
Janet worked at Mary Rutan Hospital for twenty six years in environmental services and was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church. She attended St. Patrick Parochial School through the eigth grade and graduated in 1960 from Bellefontaine High School.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where friends may call from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Bellefontaine.
