Janice Eileen Kenner

Janice Eileen Kenner, age 72, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 2:01 A.M. Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. She was born in Lima, Ohio April 22, 1945, to the late Clyde and Elsie Eileen (Cannon) Jennings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three children, Clyde, Claudia, and Steven.

On February 26, 1965, Janice married Reverend Abraham Kenner Sr. in Lima, and he survives along with their children, Donald L. Kenner, Anthony D. Kenner, Vanessa (George Jr.) Hunter, Sheila R. Whetsel, and Blake A. Kenner; adopted children, Marcelle Kenner, Carlos D. Kenner, Rico M. (Christy) Kenner, Tasha D. (Shawn) Shoffner; grandchildren, Tony, Tierra (Diandre), TéRee (Miriah) , Talmarita, Daniel (Cierra), Tanetta (Brandon), Tyler, Brittnie, Holli (DeSean), Haley, Blake II, Ta’Mirra, Monica, Jasmine, Kailynn, Jayla, Kyle, Ryan, Jade, Brooke, Marquel, Madison, Ciara and Kianna; great grandchildren, Aunesti, Harmoni, Sirinity, Houston, Savannah, Camari, Annistynn, Dreyah and Jovie; sisters, Opal (Joe) Harman, Bertha (Ben) Johnson, Meredith Ricks, Ruby (Paul) White, and Roberta (Michael) McDonald; an aunt, Lorene Tyson; an uncle, Ralph Cannon and many nieces and nephews.

A homemaker, Janice was a member of the Greater Christ Temple Church in Bellefontaine. She was a member of the Ohio District Council Ministers Wives Association and was involved in missionary work. She was also a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M.  Friday, November 17, 2017 at the Christ Our King Church in Bellefontaine. District Elder Brian Hamilton will officiate the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the church. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Bellefontaine.

The funeral arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
