Janice Martin

Janice E. Martin, 90, of Zanesfield, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was born April 9, 1920 in Defiance, Ohio, to the late Byron G. and Elsie (Hughes) Beatty.

On July 20, 1943, in Arizona, she married William J. Martin and he preceded her in death December 11, 1991.

She is survived by a daughter, Pat (Bud) Overmyer of Zanesfield, three sons, Michael (Mary) Martin of Melbourne, Florida, William Martin of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada and Christopher Martin of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada; a brother, Richard Beatty of Defiance, Ohio; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Janice worked as a Registered Nurse.

The staff at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
