Jay R. Wenzl Jr.

Jay R. Wenzl Jr. age 82, of West Mansfield, Ohio passed away Thursday evening, April 7, 2022, at Logan Acres Senior Community in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

Jay was born in Chicago, Illinois November 2, 1939, to the late Jay R. and Lillian E. (Hinman) Wenzl.  He was also preceded in death by a son Jay Robert Wenzl.

Jay is survived by his son, Victor (Julie) Wenzl of West Mansfield; a daughter, Kimberly Allison of Arlington, Tennessee; a grandson, Cameron Allison and a sister, Fay Wenzl of Chicago.

A Veteran of the United States Navy, Jay worked in construction building houses for many years.  He had lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Las Vegas prior to moving to Ohio in 2007.

There will be no services at this time for Jay.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine is honored to serve the Wenzl family.
