Jean Kay King, age 75, formerly of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away Monday afternoon September 18, 2017 in Gilbert, Arizona.
Kay was born in Dayton, Ohio August 29, 1942, to the late Karl Leroy Sudlow and Pansy Mae Harr. She married Ralph David King November 4, 1961 at McKee’s Creek Friends Church in West Liberty, and he preceded her in death May 11, 1997. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth McCoy.
Kay worked for many years as a data entry clerk but enjoyed her retirement spending time with friends and family. She was a member of the Arizona Community Church in Tempe, Arizona, and was heavily involved in Bible study and prayer groups. She enjoyed scrap booking,crochet and was a member of the Agave Quilters Guild and PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization).
Kay is survived by her children, Karen (Gregg) Williams of Sandwich, Illinois, Kimberlee (Jon) Bebb of Chandler, Arizona, Kerry King of Milford Center, Ohio, and Kelly King of Gilbert, Arizona; grandchildren, Zachary Williams, Corey, Alex and Kelsey Bebb, Chandler, Madison, and Hunter King, and Mathias, Gillian, and Caitlyn Smith; a great granddaughter, Lyra Vargas; sisters Carol Brickell of Hiram, Georgia and Linda (Paul) Allen of Lima, Ohio, and a brother, John F. Perkins of DeGraff, Ohio.
Visitation will be held at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty Friday, September 22, 2017 from 7 to 9 P.M. Pastor Richard Hendrix will officiate the funeral service Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty.
