Jean Marie Olszewski, 83 of Bellefontaine, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at her home.
She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on July 9, 1931, a daughter of the late John O. and Mabel (Norelius) Rosche. She was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Nancy Pierson.
She was an Artist and signature member of the Ohio Watercolor Society. She was also a member of the Logan County Art League and Bellefontaine Art Club. She was also a member of the Logan County Friendly Senior Center where she began a painting and drawing group in Bellefontaine. Her children and grandchildren were her pride & joy and she was very inspirational to members of the art community.
Survivors include her children, Nancy (Steve) Funderburgh of Bellefontaine, Thomas A. Olszewski of Johnstown, Ohio and Monica (Mark) Gearding of Wilder, Kentucky; grandchildren, Brandon, Andrew, Bonnie, Elizabeth, Alexa, Robert, Marielle, Addyson & Spencer; a brother, James (Joan) Rosche of Marion, Iowa, many nieces and nephews; special friends, Wanda Stahler, Lea Lewis, Jo Palmer and Tonia Terebuh and many other special friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Logan County Friendly Senior Center, 934 South Main Street, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. where brunch will be served.
