Jeff A. Zedeker

Jeff A. Zedeker, age 60, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 surrounded by his family that loved and cherished him. He was born in Marysville, Ohio October 18, 1956, to the late George M. and Carolyn M. (Shoemaker) Zedeker. Along with his parents, a sister Connie Kinney and a brother, Doug Zedeker also preceded him in death.

On November 30, 1979, he married Shari (Yelton) Zedeker and she survives.

He is also survived by his daughters, Shannon (Mike) Randolph of Springfield, Ohio, Heather (Larry) Yoder of Bellefontaine, and Tara (Logan) Marmon of West Mansfield, Ohio; grandchildren, Alexis and Kaiden Yoder, Amelia and Macie Marmon and one on the way, Lane Jeffrey Randolph; sisters, Vicki Huffman of Florida, Darlene (Steve) Bates of West Mansfield, and Diane (Don) Stevens of Florida; a brother, Mike (Carol) Zedeker of Kenton, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Jeff graduated from Ben Logan High School. He worked twenty years for Carter Steel and ten years at Honda Transmission before retiring.  Jeff was a former competitive power lifter and won two national titles.  He loved sports, especially baseball and softball.  Jeff loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and attending the grandkids sporting events.  All who loved him will miss him.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 2 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
