Jennifer Jill Comer

Jennifer Jill Comer, age 63, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Friday evening, October 18, 2019, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Jenny was born in Bellefontaine December 14, 1955, to J. Edwin and LaDonna (Willetts) Gantz.

Jenny married Robert A. Comer October 16, 1976 in Bellefontaine, and he survives.  Also surviving are children, Matthew (Tricia) Comer of Bellefontaine, and Roman Comer of Zanesfield, Ohio; four grandchildren, Logan Smith, Paige, Trent and Reed Comer; her mother, LaDonna Gantz of West Liberty, Ohio; siblings, Jacquey (Lowell) Yoder of Bellefontaine,​ Lyman (Jan) Gantz of West Liberty,  Lowell (Cindy) Gantz of West Liberty, Lon (Deb) Gantz of West Liberty and Jonna (Jon) LeVan of Bellefontaine; numerous nieces and nephews and her mother-in-law, Julia Comer of Belle Center, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her father, J. Edwin Gantz and her father-in-law, Paul E. Comer.​

A 1974 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School, Jenny was an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed caring for horses, working on puzzles, reading, antiquing and cooking.  Jenny loved her husband, kids, and grandkids passionately.

Visitation will be held at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine Tuesday, October 22, 2019, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Pastor Jeffory Willetts will officiate the funeral service Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty.
