Jennifer Ann (Foreman) O’Connor, 54, of Bellefontaine, passed away the morning of Tuesday, January 26, 2021, in her home.
She was born in Clearfield, PA on March 23, 1966, to Ron and the late Patricia (Hopping) Foreman.
On June 22, 1991 she married her husband, John (Chris) O’Connor and he survives.
She is also survived by her children; Emily and Owen O’Connor, her sisters Amy (Mark) Richardson of Harrison, OH, Stephanie (Mike) Mosbarger and Cindy (Terry) Stolly, both of Bellefontaine, many nieces and nephews, and beloved pets Sadie, Beau, and Callie.
She was preceded in death by her mother Patricia (Hopping) Foreman and sisters Katherine (Foreman) Turner and Michelle Foreman.
Jenny was a 1984 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and Bowling Green State University in 1988 where she studied early childhood education and was a member of the Alpha Xi Delta Women’s Fraternity.
She worked in education at the Columbus Zoo and as a teacher before raising her two children. Most recently she was a secretary at Bellefontaine High School.
She was always active in the community and school events, being a member of the Bellefontaine High School Academic Boosters, and volunteering at music and sporting events Emily and Owen were a part of.
Jenny was a member of Saint Patrick's Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children, family, and friends. She cherished the laughter and joy of family gatherings and spending time with those she loved.
She loved her children more than anything and enjoyed their annual family vacations and any time they were all together. An avid reader, she also enjoyed cooking, family game nights, and spending time with her children who will miss her forever.
Father Kenneth Baker will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon Monday, February 1, 2021 at the St. Patrick Church in Bellefontaine.
Visitation for close family and friends will be Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
Due to current pandemic orders, please be symptom-free, practice social distancing and wear a mask.
