Jerry L. Predmore

Jerry L. Predmore, 79, of Belle Center, Ohio passed away at 8:46 a.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at his home.

He was born February 8, 1942 in Rushsylvania, Ohio, a son of the late Terrence “Step” and Mattie Marie (Simpkins) Predmore. In addition to his parents, Jerry was also preceded in death by six sisters, Eileen Fulton, Frances Whitson, Mary Downey, Helen Atha, Virginia Tuttle and Elsie Janet Fields; five brothers, his twin Gerald Predmore, Carl Predmore, Lowell Predmore, Dick Predmore and Bobby Predmore.

On November 25, 1989, Jerry married the former Janet McGee in Belle Center, and she survives along with two children, Rick (Nikki) McGee and Karen Montrose; three grandchildren, Megan Swick, Ryan McGee and Paul Montrose; four great grandchildren; a sister, Karen Kuck and a brother, Lewis (Lillian) Predmore.

Jerry was a very hard worker, having worked at Airstream in Jackson Center for 44 years before retiring. He loved being outside doing yard work, finding things around the house to keep him busy, visiting with family and friends, or lending a helping hand to help others. He attended the New Richland Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center, where Pastor Steve Smith will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.

Per Jerry’s request, his body will be cremated and inurnment will be at the Rushsylvania Cemetery at the convenience of the family in Rushsylvania, Ohio.
