Jerry M. Reames

Jerry M. Reames, age 75, of Zanesfield, Ohio passed away at 1:43 A.M. Friday, September 15, 2017 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center East Hospital. He was born in Detroit, Michigan July 29, 1942, to the late Gerald M. and Mildred K. (McBride) Reames. Along with his parents a brother, Robert Reames preceded Jerry in death.

On October 30, 1988 he married Cyndi (Elliott) Reames and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Lisa Reames Barger Scott of Zanesfield; his sons, Tom (Marcella) Reames of Zanesfield, and Robert (Laura) Reames of Raymond, Ohio; grandchildren, Nicole (Lee) Spain, Siarra Barger, and Julius Barger, all of Bellefontaine, Ohio and Misty (Roger) Sprinkle of Middleburg, Ohio; thirteen great grandchildren; a brother, David Reames of Zanesfield and niece and nephews, Brandy Parks, Brian Reames, and Max Reames.

Jerry ran squad with the Tri-Valley Fire Department and operated Reames Service Center in Zanesfield for many years.  He was an avid racing, Mopar, and Michigan Wolverines fan. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle in his younger years and loved model trains. All who loved him will miss him.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 18, 2017 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
