Jerry Roweton
Jerry Lee Roweton, 81, of Lakeview, Ohio, passed away at his residence.
He was born March 20, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Adam and Nellie (Whiteman) Roweton.
On May 29, 1953, he married Bonnie Spencer in Dayton, Ohio and she preceded him in death May 13, 2005. Also preceding him in death were three sons, Jerry, James and Robert Roweton; a daughter, Karen Durr and one grandchild.
Surviving is his daughter, Jean Anne Roweton of Homosassa, Florida; daughters-in-law, Judy Roweton of New Carlisle, Ohio and Brenda Roweton of Homosassa, Florida; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Jerry retired from General Motors in Dayton. He pastored at the Indian Lake Christian Tabernacle, volunteered at Indian Lake Our Daily Bread and The Neighborhood Watch.
A graveside service will be at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in New Hampshire, Ohio at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, with Pastor Bryan Meadows officiating.
The staff of the Smith-Eichholtz Funeral Home in Lakeview handled the arrangements.
