Jerry Lee Wisse

Jerry Lee Wisse, age 78, husband of Carol Jeannette Mitchell Wisse, went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, December 4, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born January 17, 1939 in Springfield, Ohio, he was a son of the late Asa W. Wisse and the late Hazel Ellison Wisse. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Wisse and a son-in-law, David Richardson.

Jerry is survived by his wife of Summerton, South Carolina; a son, Jerry Todd Wisse (JoAnna) of Bellefontaine, Ohio; two daughters, Tammy Guthrie (Mike) of Bellefontaine and Brenda Richardson of Belle Center, Ohio; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Jerry was a member of the Grace Christian Fellowship Church in Manning, South Carolina and a lifetime member of the Bellefontaine Elks Lodge. He was an avid bass fisherman and an Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Pastors Mike Murdoch and John James will officiate a Celebration of Life service at 5:00 P.M. Friday, December 15, 2017, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Rushsylvania Cemetery at a later date.

The local arrangements are being handled by the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
