Jesse R. Krontz, 78, of DeGraff, passed away at 4:27 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. He was born in Putnam County on September 26, 1936 to the late John H. Sr. and Anna (Mershman) Krontz. He married the former Waneta Evelyn Musser who preceded him in death, November 1, 2010. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie and two brothers, John Jr. and James.
Jesse is survived by five sisters; Rosemary, Liz, Dorothy (Ronnie), Wilma, and Clara (Larry); a brother, Charles “Ted” (Beverly); and several nieces and nephews.
He was a machinist and U.S. Army veteran.
Pastor Kym James will officiate a funeral service at 12:00 noon on Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes Street, DeGraff, Ohio. Visitation will be Monday, April 20, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff.
