Joan Turner
Joan Jacqueline Turner, age 88, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, completed her life’s journey Monday, August 4, 2014.
She was born November 2, 1925, in Canton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her best friend and mother, Laura “Babo” (Brown) Simpson, and her beloved husband William C. "Bill" Turner.
Surviving are her children, Richard T. (Debra) Turner of Woodstock, Georgia and Ronna (Dennis) Maciejewski of Baltimore, Ohio; grandchildren, Tyler (Jennifer) Turner and Paige (Dennis) Holland; great grandchildren, Claire, Luke and Thomas Turner who are triplets.
She was also blessed to have two very special friends, Nancy McGinnis and Lauretta Henry, along with Jenny from Open Arms, who allowed Joan to live until the end of her life “the way and where she wanted too.”
A 1:00 P.M. graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at the Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio with Pastor Rose Marie Michael officiating.
The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements for the family.
