Joan Zedeker

Joan Zedeker, 84, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at Green Hills Community in West Liberty, Ohio.

Joan was born in Bellefontaine October 25, 1936, to the late William Hurley and Martha Lauretta (Gerrie) Hurley Jamison.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tami Jo Kotsaris.

Joan married John William “Bill” Zedeker May 14, 1958, and he survives in West Liberty.  She is also survived by a daughter, Teresa (David) Burroughs; grandsons: Joshua (Myra) Kotsaris, Jordan Kotsaris and Jason (Amber) Roberts; a granddaughter, Kasondra Postle; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Darlene (Daryl) Bigony and several nieces and nephews.

A 1954 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, Joan was a member of the Bellefontaine First Church of God.  She enjoyed shopping and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pastors Gary Brown and Ray Headings will officiate Joan’s funeral Friday, March 26, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine, where visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.  Due to the current pandemic orders, please be symptom-free, practice social distancing and wear a mask.
