Joanne M. Denny, age 80, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine.
She was born April 29, 1934 in Lynn, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Harry and Anna (Ryan) McLaughlin. On July 16, 1967 in Nahant, Massachusetts, she married Raymond Allen Denny and he preceded her in death November 4, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Phillip McLaughlin.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Patrick Culp and her three grandsons, Nathan, Travis, and Evan Culp, all of Bellefontaine.
Joanne was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine and was a homemaker. She was a loving mother and grandmother and treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her grandsons.
Deacon Harold Dipple will officiate a 6:00 P.M. memorial service Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Calling hours will be held two hours prior to the service. A private interment will be at the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
