Joanne Liles

Joanne Liles, 89, of Belle Center, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Vancrest of Ada. She was born on February 2, 1934, to the late William and Catheryn (Dunham) Lucas.

On January 14, 1953, she married Harold L. Liles, and he preceded her in death on July 15, 2019. She is also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Anthony Diggs and 8 siblings.

Joanne leaves behind her children: Sheryl (Myron) Spencer, Russell (Pennie Oswalt) Liles, Laura Diggs, Harold (Sylvia) Liles, and Richard (Diane) Liles; 8 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, sisters: Kay Taylor, Sharon Deardorff, and Florence Curtis and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joanne graduated from Perry Zane High School, East Liberty in 1952. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening and loved to spend time with her family.

Pastor Kevin Smith will officiate a committal service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the McDonald Township Hall, 5302 State Route 67, Kenton, OH 43326 . There will be a meal to follow at the New Richland Baptist Church, 8651 Co Rd 39, Belle Center, OH 43310.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5555 Frantz Road, Dublin, Ohio 43017.
