Jodi Gerritsen

Jodi L. Gerritsen, 42, of Belle Center, journeyed from this life to the next at 7:13 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at The Ohio State University James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Findlay, Ohio on July 5, 1973 to Dennis and Linda (Beck) Burden.

On April 11, 1997 Jodi married Brad Gerritsen in Findlay, Ohio and he survives, along with their three sons, Mike Gerritsen, Greggory Gerritsen and Billy Gerritsen; a sister, Linda Sue Burden II; a brother, James (Kerrie) Burden; 10 nieces and nephews, Cassandra, Jimmy, Michael James, Jackie, Katie, Joey, Abbie, Cotdy, Dominic and Elijah; 9 great nieces and nephews that were her life, Diamond, Johnathan, Davison, Starr, Lil’ J., Ariana, Juliette and the late Melissa and Katherine.

Jodi is blessed with an extensive family too numerous to mention. Her capacity to love was so complete it ensured that all friends were considered family and held dear to her heart.

A tax expert for H&R Block in Kenton, Jodi was a member of DAV Chapter #43 in Findlay.

Visitation will be Monday, June 13, 2016 from 2-4 & 5-7 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 306. N. Elizabeth Street, Belle Center. Pastor Kevin Smith will officiate a funeral service at 12 noon on Tuesday, June 14th at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio. Those attending the funeral who possess Jodi’s Journey shirts are requested to wear them.
