John Lee Ball

John Lee Ball, age 55, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 4:01 P.M. Saturday, June 29, 2019, at his residence. He was born in Bellefontaine July 4, 1963, to the late Marion Michael and Francis Marie (Garman) Ball. Two brothers, Sid Ball and Butch Ball also preceded John in death.

On August 28, 1994, he married Crissy Allen in Bellefontaine and she survives. He is also survived by his children, Jennifer (Daniel) Hammond, Jordan Ball, Jessica (Joshua) Rainey, and Johnnie Ball all of Bellefontaine; three granddaughters, Aryana Lane, Mia and Leila Hammond; sisters, Sharon Kay Ball, Sissy Ball both of Bellefontaine, and Lucy Herne of Florida; brothers, Fred Ball of Rushsylvania, Ohio, Mike (Wonda) Ball, Darrin (Roberta) Ball, and Tub Ball, all of Bellefontaine and numerous nieces and nephews.

John enjoyed working outside and on cars and loved to ride his motorcycle and play chess.  John liked to listen and sing along to ‘80s music.  Most importantly, he loved to be around his children and grandchildren. All who loved and knew John will miss him.

It was John’s wish to be cremated and services will be held at a later date.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
