John J. Entelisano, 67, of Bellefontaine, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Fulton County, New York on September 15, 1948, the son of the late John C. and Ethel (Zayicek) Entelisano.

John graduated from Union College in Barbourville, KY with a Bachelor’s in Political Science. He served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard. He was the co-owner of Stephen’s Fine Jewelry in Bellefontaine and had belonged to the Elks Lodge in Bellefontaine and had served as President of the Downtown Business Association. He was a regular on WPKO’s Reverse Trivia Morning Show. He was a huge fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, The Ohio State University Buckeyes, and the Columbus Blue Jackets. He loved all children, but especially his grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Smith) Entelisano; two daughters, Trina (Robert) Bala of Gainesville, FL and Marla Huard of Riverview, FL; a son, Anthony (Charlotte) Entelisano of Clearwater, FL; two step sons, Jason (Theresa) James of LaRue, OH, Stephen (Erica) James of Marysville, OH; a step daughter, Heather (Junior) James of Marion, OH; 12 grandchildren, Taylor, Garrett, Macenzie, Alex, Katie, Matthew, Nicholas, Evan, Bentley, Piper, Cooper and Connor; and his nine siblings, Karen Burke, Mary White, Dodi Vaccaro, Kathi Renzihausen, Nancy Loreto, Joseph Entelisano, Bruce Entelisano, Barbara Davidson, and Michael Entelisano; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Pastor Gary Brown will officiate a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2016 in the First Church of God, 1000 E. Brown Ave., Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.

Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
