John Woods

John Bradley ‘Brad’ Woods, 58, of Bellefontaine passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine.

He was born on January 27, 1957 in New Castle, Indiana the son of the late Jack and Marilyn (Leavell) Woods. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Jack L. Woods II.

He married the former Vicki Sherrick on July 5, 2002 in Bellefontaine and she survives him along with his sons, Matt (Roxanne Kolesar) Woods and Ryan (Ashley) Woods, both of Westerville; three step daughters, Angie (Jason) Ramsdail of Elida, Brittany (Steve) Farley of Mansfield, and Kristin (Jeremiah) Ferguson of Gahanna; five grandchildren, Ethan, Ezri, Brayden, Logan, and Kaiden, one brother, Randall E. Woods of Rancho Santa Fe, CA and several nieces and nephews.

Brad was a 1975 graduate of New Castle High School in Indiana and a 1979 graduate of Ball State University. He enjoyed traveling with his family and was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds. He worked as a representative for Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, LTD and was active with the Lima Community Church.

Pastor Brad Taylor will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2016 in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, OH. Visitation will be on Sunday at the funeral home from 2 until 6 p.m. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
