Joseph P. Wish

Joseph “Joe” P. Wish left this life on September 5, 2021, at Hospice of Dayton.

He was born to Paul F. and Marjorie (Keesecker) Wish on October 10, 1955. Joe started Wish Construction Co. and was a contractor in the Logan County area for over 30 years. His love of sports was evident in his discussions of OSU basketball and football. He faithfully followed the Cincinnati Reds baseball team.

Joe was a lover of nature living in his cabin in the woods, hunting, fishing, enjoying wildlife and trekking through the woods with his dog, Barnabus, searching for mushrooms.

Leaving behind to celebrate his life are his siblings: Sharon (Gale) Franklin, Jamestown; Sue Caro; Jim (Susan) Wish; Joy (Steve) Wish Climer; Joni (Ron) Galarneau; and Jeanne (Gail) Gildow, all of Bellefontaine. He had a special love for his nieces and nephews and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of wildlife lore with them. The family would like to thank Joe’s many friends for their care and support throughout the years.

We will miss you, our little red headed brother!

A private graveside service will be held in the Bellefontaine Cemetery at a later date.
