Joyce Hay

Joyce Marie Hay, 66, of Bellefontaine passed away Saturday morning, May 21, 2016 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born in Yonkers, New York on August 24, 1949 to the late Harlow A. and Edith (Dressing) Hay. She was also preceded in death by a nephew.

Joyce spent the majority of her life in Hastings on the Hudson, New York before moving to Ohio in 1999. She loved going to kids’ ball games and spending time with them. She loved her cats and dog. Joyce enjoyed doing puzzles, playing cards and board games, and watching old movies. Her physical disabilities slowed her down, but they never stopped her from working and doing the things she loved.

Joyce is survived by her brother, Robert (Rosa) Hay of Hastings on Hudson, New York; sisters: Almeda (Friday) Dworetsky of Rushsylvania and Bonnie Nichols of Bellefontaine; and several nieces and nephews.

Joyce had many good friends and was loved by all; she will be missed. Following Joyce’s wishes, there will be no services.

The Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
