Joyce Huffman

Joyce Louise Huffman, age 86, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away Saturday morning, October 18, 2014 at Heartland of Urbana in Urbana, Ohio.

She was born in Logan County Ohio April 23, 1928, to the late Stephen and Chloe (Pond) McIntire.

Louise married William Everett Huffman June 11, 1946, and he preceded her in death May 23, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin, Carl, Delbert, Harold and Carol McIntire and a sister, Joan Hoffman.

Louise is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Stephanie Huffman of Urbana; a granddaughter, Shelby Huffman of Urbana, and several nieces and nephews.

Louise was a 50 year plus member of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of the Spring Hills Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed the outings with her brothers, camping on the family farm.

Pastor Lee Ortman will officiate the funeral service Saturday, October 25, 2014, at 12 P.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty, where friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service.

Interment will be at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty.
