Joyce Purk

Joyce Maureen Purk, 70, of Bellefontaine passed away at 8:25 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Memorial Gables in Marysville, Ohio. She was born in Sidney, Ohio on May 27, 1944 to the late Harold and Twila (Nelson) Wise. In 1964 Joyce married her former husband, Bill Purk, and he survives in Bellefontaine.

Joyce is also survived by her two daughters, April (Scott) Lantz of Bellefontaine and Darla (Eric) Keifer of East Liberty; three grandchildren, Hillary Lantz, Ethan Keifer and Alexis Keifer; and a sister Judy (Fred) Garland of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her brother Jerry Wise.

A member of the High Point Church of Christ, Joyce had worked as an associate of Walmart. Her hobbies included reading and listening to music.

Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes Street, DeGraff, Ohio. Pastor Mike Sandlin will officiate a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27th at Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff.
