Juanita Rothrock, age 105, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at her home in Bellefontaine.
She was born February 19, 1909, in Logan County Ohio the daughter of the late Claude and Ivy (Gillenwater) Rosebrook.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dwight Burden and her second husband, Robert Rothrock; her daughter, Peggy L. Burden-Davis; her son, Kenneth E. Burden; two brothers, Lowell and Olaf Rosebrook; a grandson, Duane Michael Davis who died in Vietnam; a son-in-law, Duane Davis; two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Connie (Donavon) Hughes of Bellefontaine, Donald Burden of Florida, William Burden of Oklahoma, Judy Booher of Oklahoma, Art (Valerie) Davis of Bellefontaine and Terry (Danese) Davis of Huntsville, Ohio, a daughter-in-law, Faye Burden of Indianapolis, Indiana; twenty great grandchildren; forty seven great great grandchildren; one great great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Juanita enjoyed cooking, reading, and crocheting and she loved to go shopping. She truly had a zest for life and enjoyed it to the fullest.
She chose to have her body donated to the University of Toledo Anatomical Donation Program. No services are planned at this time.
The family would like to acknowledge the special care given to Juanita by Connie and Donavon Hughes and family for their care as well as the staff members of Universal Home Health and Hospice and Interim Health.
The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
