Judith Bell, age 74, of Quincy, Ohio, passed away May 10, 2014, at Dorothy Love in Sidney, Ohio.
She was born December 31, 1939 on the family farm outside of Quincy, to the late Clifford and Flossie (Notestine) Bell. She was also proceeded in death by brothers, Donald and Paul Bell; sisters Ruth Lantz, Rosemary Rice, Pauline Simpkins Weller and Geraldine Bell.
Survivors include two sisters, Barbara Krueger of Fairborn, Ohio and Carol Thornhill of Sidney; two brothers, James Bell of Sidney and Stephen (Linda) Bell of Quincy; a brother-in-law, John Rice of Cincinnati, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Judy was a graduate of Quincy High School and the Bethesda Nursing School in Cincinnati. She worked at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney for many years and finished out her career working for Dr. Robert Miller’s office in Sidney.
She loved gardening and caring for her numerous flower beds. She was an avid sports fan, following the Cincinnati Reds, NASCAR racing, horse racing and football.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, May 15, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff, Ohio. Pastor James Alter will officiate a private graveside service at the convenience of the family.
The funeral arrangements were in the care of the staff of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff.
