Judith A. Castle, 79, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at 1:10 A.M. Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Bellefontaine October 6, 1937, to the late Paul Lewis and Ellen Alice (Barton) Blair. Along with her parents, her daughter, Carey Resnik, preceded her in death.
On July 6, 1957, she married David Castle and he survives. She is also survived by her son, Andy (Lori) Castle of Powell, Ohio; grandchildren, Blair Maxine Resnik, David Castle Resnik, Katie Castle, LeeAnn Castle, and Joey Castle; a sister, Janet Anderson of Bellefontaine; a brother, Chuck (Cindy) Blair of Bellefontaine, and many nieces and nephews.
Judith was a school secretary and retired from Westerville City Schools. Her life was her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She loved being at her home on Indian Lake and sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. Judith was loyal to her family and friends. She loved to travel. Judith took many trips to Georgia and Arizona. She especially enjoyed her trips to London and Hawaii. Judith loved to go boating and go her to supper club. All who loved her will miss her.
Pastor Jay Curatti will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the First Church of God in Bellefontaine. Visitation will be Friday, May 12, 2017 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. Burial will be at the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Bellefontaine.
