Judith Darlene Henson, 75, of Bellefontaine, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. She was born in Plain City, Ohio on February 12, 1941 to the late William and Lillian May “Marjorie” (Thomas) Guisinger. On September 13, 1980 she married Earl J. Henson in Marysville and he preceded her in death on June 2, 2009. Judy was also preceded in death by a son Kevin L. Henson; sisters, Carol J. Gabriel and Dorothy Ann Bennington; and brothers, John and William J. Guisinger, Jr.

Judy worked as a clerk with United Telephone Long Distance, and through mergers, retired as a dispatcher with Sprint after 27 years of employment. She previously attended Marysville Baptist Church. Judy enjoyed cooking, gardening and collecting cookbooks and teapots. She was a former member of the Jackson Center VFW Auxiliary.

Judy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Alycia Henson of West Liberty; a grandson Ayden Gabriel-Eugene Henson; a sister Pat Massie of Mechanicsburg; sisters-in-law Pat Guisinger-Biddle of Urbana, Jan Guisinger, and Ginny Henson of Sidney; numerous nieces and nephews, including Greg Bennington, Gary Koch, Irvin (Bev) Brown, and Donna Davis; several great-nieces and great-nephews; special friends Dick and Lou Dixon, Ina (Kenny) Vermillion, and Nurse Terry at Heartland of Bellefontaine.

Friends may call at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 12 to 2 p.m. Douglas Bennington will conduct the funeral service on Wednesday, October 19th at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Milford Center Cemetery.
