Judith Kay Shannon

Judith Kay Shannon, 67, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009, at her daughter’s residence in Union City, Ohio. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on September 1, 1941, to the late Macolm & Ruby Dye Floss.

She is survived by 3 sons, Randy (Cyndie) Shannon of Russells Point, Ohio, Rusty (Roni) Shannon of Kenton, Ohio, and Rick (Lori) Shannon of Toledo, Ohio; 2 daughters, Robin (Patrick) Blosser of Union City, Ohio, and Risa (Scott) Johnson of Belle Center, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Pammy Jo Palmer of Piqua, Ohio; 3 brothers, 7 sisters, 21 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister and 2 grandchildren.

Judi was a nursing assistant for 30 years. She was a member of the Lighthouse Ministries in Sidney, Ohio, and enjoyed sewing, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Pastor Paul Pearson will conduct a memorial service at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 2, 2009, at the Lighthouse Ministries in Sidney, Ohio.

The Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
