Julia Parson

Julia Rose (Henry) Parson, 70, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday, May 17, 2010, at her residence. She was born at her family home in Lewistown, Ohio to the late Guy L. and Elizabeth (Miller) Henry.

On December 24, 1960 she married Carl Parson in Lima, Ohio, and he survives along with her sisters, Joan (William E.) Burton, Helen (Robert D.) Cook and Carol Sue Grow and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was a twin sister, who was stillborn, sisters, Donna Marie Henry and Phyllis Minahan and a brother, Carl Richard “Bud” Henry.

A homemaker, Julia attended school at Lewistown and Quincy and was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Bellefontaine. She enjoyed cooking, working in the kitchen at the church, traveling and crocheting.

Pastor Greg Haisley will conduct the funeral service at the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Bellefontaine Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. Calling hours will be noon to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions may be made to Universal Home Health Hospice 701 S. Main Street Bellefontaine, OH 43311

The staff at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
