Julie C. McIntosh (Rammel) passed away at 64 years old on January 7, 2024, at Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  Julie was born to Gerald and Dee in Columbus, Ohio on May 25, 1959.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gerald Rammel and her mother, Dee Chiavetta.

Julie loved singing in the church choir at Bellefontaine United Methodist Church. She was a lifelong learner, and she earned a bachelors in accounting and masters in business administration from the Indiana Institute of Technology.  She also loved embroidery, quilting, and flower gardening.  Her patience, kindness, and generosity will be remembered by all.

She is survived by her husband, Dave McIntosh, her children—Michael Zoller (sp. Bree Abernathy), Daniel Zoller (sp. Manuela Londoño Céspedes), Jennifer Lalos (Dimi), Matthew Chandler (Elizabeth), and stepchildren—Daniel McIntosh (Erin), Claire Meraz (Bryan), and Jennifer Tracey (Austin).  She is also survived by her younger sisters—Jeanne Vermillion (sp. Steve Shipley) and Denise Varner (Robert), and step-siblings—Susan Marie, Kenneth Hill (Stephanie), and Jeannette Cohen. In addition, she is survived by her stepmother, Joyce Rammel.

Julie loved and spoiled her eleven grandchildren: Grayson & Adelaide Zoller, Daphne & Linnea Lalos, Summer Maly, Eliza & Isaac McIntosh, Brynn & Lennan Meraz, and Eloise & Patrick Tracey.  She also loved her numerous nieces, nephews, and their children.

A celebration of Julie’s life will be held at New Haven United Methodist Church, 630 E Lincoln Hwy, New Haven, Ind. on January 18, 2024. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a memorial service at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in celebration of Julie’s life may be made to the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, 1100 South Calhoun St, Fort Wayne, Ind.
