Karen L. Moore, 49, of DeGraff passed away at 5:07 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2014 at her home. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 18, 1965 to Richard and Loretta (Wheeler) Picker, who survive in Northridge, Ohio.
On April 2, 2005 she married Jeffrey Moore and he survives, along with her children; Jordan Perry of Urbana, Heather (Bill Willoughby) Moore of Casstown, Zachary (Joanna) Moore of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania and Gregrey (Jennifer Marzec) Moore of Columbus; four grandchildren; two sisters, Chris (Chris) Kauffenbarger of Dublin and Jennifer (Lee) Swisher of Springfield; a brother Rick Picker of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews.
A beloved wife, Karen worked as a Senior Paralegal for Konecranes in Springfield. She enjoyed cooking, especially researching and experimenting with new recipes on the weekends. Karen appreciated the private, secluded life on the farm, traveling to the beach, reading, watching movies and sitting on the patio.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Walter-Smith Funeral Home, 642 S. Main Street, Urbana, Ohio 43078. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
