Karen Pounds

Biography

Karen Sue Forsythe Pounds, 67, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 1:37 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at her home. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on August 25, 1949 to the late Kenneth and Bernice Nellie (Kamey) Forsythe. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Derick Nichols; and a brother, Richard Castledine.

Karen is survived by her five children; Darrell (Tisha) Nichols, Jr., Daniel Nichols, Diane (Clyde) Board, Darlene Crites and Denise Riker; 17 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and special friends, John Lowe and Liz Brown.

A homemaker, Karen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bellefontaine. She was an avid Baltimore Ravens and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Karen enjoyed watching football, fishing, and most especially spending time with her grandkids.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
