Karla T. Clark, 57, of Bellefontaine, passed away at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center on Thursday, March 24, 2016.
She was born on January 21, 1959 in Bellefontaine, a daughter of Roscelle Clark of Bellefontaine and the late Beverly Mae (Deslandes) Clark. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Valarie Hamilton and brothers, Robert Hamilton, Phillip Clark and Roderick Clark.
She operated a Day Care facility and was a member of the Grace A.M.E. Church. She was an avid TV watcher, especially soap operas. She was a warm loving person to everybody and always put other people’s needs ahead of her own. She was known for knowing everyone’s birthdays and anniversary dates.
Survivors include a daughter, Karlyssia (Robert) Titus of Mt. Victory; a son, Tyrell Clark of Bellefontaine; sisters, Karen (Kirk) Clark-Lewis of Bellefontaine, Kim (Sidney) Slaughter of Lewis Center, and Barbara Feagins of Colorado; a brother, Roscelle (Pam) Clark II of Bellefontaine; several nieces and nephews and a special friend Charles Colvin.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at the Christ Our King Church in Bellefontaine on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 with visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. Friends may call on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 North Main Street, Bellefontaine. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty.
