Karla J. Vicario, 53, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 at her residence. She was born November 21, 1958 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Eugene E. Fogt and Doris (Zwiebel) Fogt who survives in Jackson Center, Ohio.
On June 22, 1985, she married Joseph S. Vicario, Jr. in Jackson Center, and he survives along with their children, Anthony Joseph Eugene, Andrew Steven and Ashley Nicole Vicario all of Bellefontaine; her siblings, Steve (Marsha) Fogt of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Paula March of Jackson Center, Marcia Holthaus of Maplewood, Ohio, Nina (Chuck) McGee of West Liberty, Ohio and Diane (Mike) Supinger of Lakeview, Ohio.
Karla worked as a cosmetologist for Vista, a seamstress for Holloway Sportswear in Jackson Center, had a daycare in her home, and most recently worked for the Bellefontaine City Schools in food services.
A 1978 Jackson Center High School graduate, Karla was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine and enjoyed cooking, shopping, sewing, crafts and her dogs, Cleo & Molly.
Calling hours are Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Rev. William J. Kramer and Deacon Harold Dipple will officiate a 10:00 A.M. funeral mass Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine. Interment will be at the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Bellefontaine.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Logan County Cancer Society 205 Palmer Ave. Bellefontaine, OH 43311 or to Wilson Home Health Hospice 1083 Fairington Dr. Sidney, OH 45365
