KAYE ELLEN SMITH MOORE, 82, of Sun City, Arizona passed away on March 28, 2024 at the Royal Oaks Retirement Community… with her husband by her side. Kaye was born March 18, 1942 in Bellefontaine, Ohio to the late Kenneth W. Smith, DVM and Garnet Smith of West Liberty, Ohio, who preceded her in death. Kaye’s sister-in-law, Diane Dodge Smith, also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Roger Moore. One of her greatest joys in life was raising her 3 daughters...

Kendra KAYE Densmore (Philip), Karen Stone (Scott) and Molly Reid (Scott). Kaye is also survived by her seven beloved grandchildren Kaylie Stone, Tyler Stone, McKenna KAYE Reid, Meghan Reid, Colton Reid, Kate KAYE Densmore and Claire Densmore; also two brothers: William (Bill) Smith (Kathleen), Jerry Smith and lots of nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

After West Liberty High School, Kaye graduated from Carnegie Medical College.

She briefly worked as physician's assistant for Dr. David King as well as other medical offices. She will be remembered as a very talented and crafty seamstress. She loved to make clothes for her daughters, grandchildren and even their dolls. She spent so much time at the fabric store that she ended up taking on a part time job there! One of her other amazing talents was her cooking! Her family & friends were always amazed with her delicious food as all things were made with a lot of love. Many family dishes and traditions will continue with her legacy. Kaye assisted at her husband's financial advisory firm until she retired. Life didn't stop there...she became a world traveler in her later years. She, along with her husband, took two long world cruises as well as many other international trips. They traveled in 84 countries and territories.
