Keith Gildow

Keith Alan Gildow, Sr, 57 of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday evening, July 23, 2012 at the Wexner Medical Center at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Bellefontaine October 6, 1954, to Garld R. “Gail” and Naomi E. Price Gildow.

He married the former Cindy Jenkins April 3, 1976 in West Liberty, Ohio. Keith was preceded in death by his father in 1992 and his sister Joyce Gildow-Hayman in 2001.

Keith is survived by his wife, Cindy Gildow; his mother, Naomi E. Gildow; a son, Keith Gildow, Jr., all of Bellefontaine; a daughter, Heidi Gildow of Columbus, Ohio; brothers Rick (Mary) Gildow and Gail (Jeanne) Gildow, both of Bellefontaine; a special niece, Stacie (Jon) Steele of Bellefontaine and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Keith worked at Honda of America for twenty five years before retiring in 2004, and later worked for Petermann, Ltd, transporting clients for The Discovery Center and RTC Industries. He was very passionate about his clients and assisting others. He was a member of the Bellefontaine Moose, VFW and American Legion, and enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Calling hours will be held at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine Friday, July 27, 2012, from 4 to 8 P.M. Pastor Karen Blackburn will officiate the funeral service Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the South Union Mennonite Church in West Liberty, where the couple was married thirty six years ago. Interment will be at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
