Kimberly Sue Mahoy

Kimberly Sue Mahoy, 59, of West Liberty, passed away at 11:58 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at

The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio surrounded by her loved ones after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Urbana, Ohio on June 17, 1963, a daughter of the late Ray L. Jr. and Beverly J. (Clickner) Martin.

Kim is survived by her significant other, Arthur Cavinder; three children, Sheena (James) Miller, Dustin

(Kelly Marie) Gantz, and Gabrielle Mahoy; four grandchildren, Levi Miller, Allison Miller, Braelyn

Gantz, and Bristol Gantz; five siblings, Mike (Karen) Martin, Tammy (Jody) Wisecup, Lisa (Loren)

Salyer, Jay (Jolie) Martin, and Scot Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her

parents, Kim was preceded in death by two siblings, Jeff Martin, and an infant sister Pamela Martin.

Kim lived a life of sunshine, laughter, and love. She enjoyed spending time with family, spoiling her

grandkids, scratching lottery tickets, caring for animals, laying on the beach, all things pink, gambling at

the casino, and sunbathing.

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford

Funeral Home, 101 Zanesfield Road in West Liberty. Kim’s son-in-law, James Miller, will lead a

graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, in Mac-O-Chee Cemetery in Monroe

Township, Ohio. Guests are encouraged to wear the color pink in memory of Kim.
