Larry A. Harris, 60, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was born May 25, 1950 in Bellefontaine to the late Charles H. and Janet L. (Murry) Harris.
A United States Navy veteran, Larry worked for Honda of America in Marysville as a boiler operator and retired in October 2009. He was a member of the I.H.M.S.A. (International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Assoc.) where he enjoyed silhouette shooting and was past state and national champion in several classes. On Wednesday night he enjoyed trivia night at Wingers.
He is survived by two brothers, Harvey Harris of Kettering, Ohio and Galen Harris of Bellefontaine.
Calling hours are Sunday, June 27, 2010, from 2 to 5 P.M. at the Kauffman-Eichholtz Funeral Home in West Liberty. Gene Marine will conduct the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 28, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, with military honors by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard.
