Larry L. Parker

Larry Lee Parker, 71, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at his residence.

He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on August 5, 1951, the son of the late Earl Morris and Bertha Geraldine (Johns) Parker.  He was also preceded in death by seven brothers, Joe, Jim, Bob, Leland, Junior, Doug and Fred Parker, and two sisters, Wanda Tuttle and Vickie Billups.

On July 6, 1974, he married the love of his life, the former Hellyn Carpenter, and she survives along with two daughters, Sarah (Neil) Parker and Holly (Tyler) Levi, five grandchildren, Hayden, Jaydyn, Raiden, Kendra, and Meredith, a special niece, Elly (Corey) Cash and great nephew, Maxemus Cash, and two sisters-in-law, Sue and Liz Parker.

Larry graduated from Indian Lake High School in 1971 and worked for D.A.B. in Bellefontaine for 33+ years as a press operator, retiring in 2006.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Kenton and enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre and Pinochle.  He umpired both softball and baseball and in his younger years, he enjoyed coaching his kids’ teams and loved to play softball.  He was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Pastor Dean Wasson will officiate a memorial service on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
