Larry Dean Vanhoose

Larry Dean Vanhoose, 79, of Jackson Center, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 21, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.  He was born in Madison County, Ohio on February 8, 1939 to the late Fannie Mildred Woodruff Dysert.

Larry worked for 33 years at the Ford Motor Company before retiring.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and tending to his dogs and cats.

Larry married Elizabeth Wildermuth on October 11, 1958 in Jackson Center and she survives.  He is also survived by children: Jeff Vanhoose, Teresa Vanhoose, Lisa (Dean) Purtee, all of Jackson Center, Kathy (Jeff) Purtee of Quincy, Joyce (Duane) Metz of Jackson Center, and Marcy (Bob) Kohler of Botkins; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Jackson Center, on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 4-7pm.  The funeral will be on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Rinehart officiating.
