Laura McVicker

Biography

Laura Jean McVicker, 53, of Belle Center, Ohio, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

She was born March 12, 1960 in Lima, Ohio, to the late Ronald E. and Dolores K. (Rambo) Shoffner.

On July 14, 1984 she married Donald McVicker in Russells Point, Ohio, and he survives in Fremont, Indiana. Also surviving are her children, Scott (Kyra) McVicker of Fremont, Indiana and Holly McVicker of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; two grandchildren, Oliver and Rebecca McVicker; her siblings, Jeffrey Shoffner of McGuffy, Ohio, Ronald Shoffner of Angola, Indiana and Linda (Larry) Goheen of Belle Center, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A 1978 Ridgemont High School graduate and a homemaker, Laura enjoyed playing BINGO, attending auctions, flea markets, garage sales and going to family outings and cookouts.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring and Sanford Funeral home in Belle Center assisted the family with the arrangements.
