Lauren Elizabeth McManaway, 8, of Cable, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, after a nine month battle with cancer.

She was born June 24, 2005, in Columbus to Todd and Kellie (Webb) McManaway, whom survive. Also surviving are her siblings, Joshua McManaway, age 15, Hannah McManaway, age 10, and her twin sister, Megan McManaway, age 8, all at home; maternal grandparents, Gary and Pat Webb of West Liberty, Ohio; paternal grandparents, Tom and Sarah McManaway of Jackson, Ohio; maternal great grandparents, Richard and Metta Webb of Grove City, Ohio; a paternal great grandmother, Mary Clark of Columbus and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Lauren would have been a 3rd grader at Triad Elementary School, where she was a member of the Good News Club. She loved cheerleading, tumbling, and gymnastics and enjoyed swimming and singing. Lauren also loved to play competitively with her siblings.

Pastor Wayne Taylor will officiate the 1:00 P.M. funeral service at the Eichholtz Daring and Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty Saturday, August 3, 2013, with calling hours from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will be at the Middleburg Cemetery in Middleburg, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Honda Federal Credit Union where a fund has been established for her siblings in her parent’s name.
