Lavonda Clements

Lavonda Mae Clements, 88, of Lima, passed away at 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Hardin County on November 12, 1927 to the late Lemuel H. and Alta Mae (Beck) Liles. On June 24, 1961 she married Roy Clements, Jr. and he preceded her in death, November 12, 2004.

She is survived by her brother, Harold (Joanne) Liles of Belle Center; nieces and nephews, Sheryl (Myron) Spencer of Belle Center, Russell Liles of Belle Center, Laura (Anthony) Diggs of Galloway, Ohio, Harold (Sylvia) Liles II of Belle Center, and Richard (Diane) Liles of Kings Creek, Ohio; special friend, Vickie Decker of Lima; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Lavonda was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church in Lima and the Ladies Auxiliary of United Transportation Association. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family.

Pastor Tim Benjamin will officiate a funeral service at 12 Noon on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 306 N. Elizabeth Street, Belle Center. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairview-McDonald Cemetery in McDonald Township.
