Leath Moon

Leath A. Moon, 43, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at his home.

He was born February 8, 1969, a son of the late Larry Moon and Anita (Smith) Stalk, who survives in Bellefontaine. Also preceding him in death was an infant sister, Amy Leann Moon; his paternal grandparents, George and Hazel Moon; and uncle, Rodney Moon and an infant uncle, Lynn Owen Smith.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Don Stalk; brothers, Lane (Lisa) Moon of Urbana, Ohio, Lance (Becky) Moon of Minster, Ohio; maternal grandparents, Laird (Betty) Smith of Florida; aunts and uncles, Anthony (Sue) Moon of Belle Center, Ohio, Edward (Deb) Smith of Florida, Richard (Joan) Smith of Bellefontaine, Phyllis (Al) Smith of Florida; nieces and nephews, Josh, Holly, Natasha, Drew & Justin.

He worked at Tanger’s Furniture in Bellefontaine.

He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed hunting, fishing, doing carpentry and upholstery work. He enjoyed working with his nephews with their 4-H pigs.

Gene Marine will conduct a graveside service at 2:30 P.M Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Hale Cemetery in Hardin County Ohio.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
