Leonard LeVan

Leonard L. “Pete” LeVan, 82, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. He was born in Logan County on May 1, 1927 to the late Chester and Della (Route) LeVan.

On October 9, 1953 he married Anna Tomblin and she survives along with their children, Roger (Darlene) LeVan of Columbus, Ohio; Leonard (Roseann) LeVan Jr. of Lima, Ohio; and Wilma LeVan of Bellefontaine; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death was a sister, Myrtle Guess.

Pete retired from the City of Bellefontaine where he worked for the water department. He was a member of the Community Hope Baptist Church in Bellefontaine.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, July 13, 2009, at the Harper Cemetery, with Rev. Denis Rockwell officiating.

The Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
